The poems in Orbit, Phillip Mellor’s 11th book of poems, deal with a vast array of subject matter, life, death, time, distance, and our own place in the world, if not the entire universe. The author explores his own life, from the roots of his own existence to the “unknowable unknown” we all must face at the end of it all. Orbit is full of life affirming poetry that will make you laugh, cry, and wonder at this great unfathomable mystery we call life.

Phillip Mellor was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and is now living in Seattle on the west coast of United States with his wife, Artist, Heather Mellor. He has been writing poetry since 1998, and published his debut collection of poetry Still Growing in 2007. Since then he has published a further ten original books of poetry, two books of selected poems and two ebook shorts. His work has been featured in various literary publications on both sides of the Atlantic.

Paris, Again

Here is the next video in the series of videos I have been producing for the Blue In Green collection. This one is for the poem Paris, Again. Multimedia work has always interested me and doing this series of videos has allowed me to explore some ideas on how to present poetry to people in a different way. There is more to come. If you like what you hear, please consider supporting my work by picking up a copy of the book at Amazon (the link to the book are below the video) If you are one of those lovely people who have already picked up a copy of Blue In Green and you have enjoyed it, could I ask you to visit the book’s page on Amazon and leave a review. It really helps get the book noticed. Thank you. I hope you enjoy the video.
